Over lunch one day during my recent trip to Cambodia I found myself being given a stern challenge/encouragement.
During one of the sessions at the Leader’s conference, I found myself rather raw emotionally in facing the reality of some the challenging things I’ve had to walk through. As I talked some stuff through with a trusted, experienced pastor, he asked me a tough question about the lens I was allowing myself to look at life through.
The reality is that we all face tough stuff and we all know what it is to get things wrong at times. But we do not need to allow our pain or our failures to dictate the rest of our story!
The lenses that God offers us to see life through include lenses of faith, hope and love. I believe putting on one of those lenses today might help you begin to face what lies ahead in a God-focused way… Even our failures can be used by God for His good purposes!!
May you see through God shaped lenses today.
“As for you, you meant evil against me, but God meant it for good, to bring it about that many people should be kept alive, as they are today.” (Genesis 50:20)
