BlogSpot by Joel Pridmore

My third consecutive blog about my recent gliding experience is not really about gliding! It is about making use of what God has placed in our hands.

Last week, Brian talked about being ‘a people who soar like eagles’ and touched on the subject of making use of the resources God has given us, which is very relevant to my soaring experience. Here’s why… because it took me way too long to make use of the resources I had been given to make the experience happen.

I had been given the money by friends and family for my 30th birthday – over SIX years ago! But I didn’t make use of that money until this month. It had literally sat in the envelope hidden away for all that time doing nothing.

 God has given us everything we need to be who He wants us to be and to do what He wants us to do. It took me too long to make use of my glider money – I wonder if there is anything that it is taking you too long to get around to?

I pray today that you will recognize that which God has given you and that you will trust Him and take the opportunities placed before you today.

“…they who wait for the Lord shall renew their strength;
    they shall mount up with wings like eagles”

(Isaiah 40:31)
